To rent a motorcycle from Joy Riders, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Hold a valid M2 or M motorcycle license
• Provide a valid driver's license
• Have a valid credit card for security deposit
• Sign our rental agreement and waiver

A security deposit of $800 CAD is required for all motorcycle rentals. This deposit:

• Is held on your credit card during the rental period
• Is fully refundable upon return of the bike in the same condition
• Will be released within 3-5 business days after rental ends
• May be used to cover damages beyond normal wear and tear

Basic liability insurance is included with all rentals. This covers:

• Damage to other vehicles and property
• Third-party liability up to policy limits

Note: This insurance does NOT cover damage to the rental motorcycle itself. You are responsible for any damage to the rental bike beyond normal wear and tear.

Rental periods are calculated in full days (24-hour periods). Extensions must be requested and approved in advance. Additional charges will apply for late returns.

Maximum rental period is 7 days unless special arrangements are made.

Safety gear is mandatory for all rentals:

• Helmet (provided or bring your own)
• Protective gloves (provided or bring your own)
• Appropriate clothing (long pants, sleeves, closed-toe shoes)

Additional safety gear is available for rent at $15/day.

The following activities are prohibited:

• Riding under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• Off-road riding or racing
• Carrying passengers without proper licensing
• Modifying or tampering with the motorcycle
• Using the motorcycle for commercial purposes
• Riding in unsafe weather conditions

In case of damage or accident:

• Contact Joy Riders immediately
• Do not admit fault or liability
• Obtain police report if required
• Take photos of damage and scene
• Get contact information from other parties

You are responsible for all costs associated with damage to the rental motorcycle.

Rental cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

Weather-related cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Motorcycles must be returned:

• At the agreed-upon time and location
• In the same condition as when rented
• With a full tank of fuel (if applicable)
• With all provided equipment and documentation

Late returns are subject to additional charges.
